FABRICATION

Canvas

Stains can be more apparent on canvas and can be spot cleaned with bristle brush and detergent/ water mix. Leave the shoes to air dry.

Crinkle metallic

Crinkle metallic is delicate and is subject to scuffing. It is best cared for when stored in the provided dust bag.

Dyed Suede

We reccomend taking caution when wearing as the color may transfer to lighter objects with exposure to liquids, and abraision.

Foil Lambskin

Goatskin leather is delicate and is subject to scuffing. It is best cared for when stored in the provided dust bag.

Fox fur

Resilient and naturally durable, fur can be preserved and treated yearly by a fur-care specialist.

Haircalf

Haircalf is delicate and should be handled carefully and, if possible, worn on only one side of the body. Irreversible bald patches may result from abrasion.

Kid Suede

Suede may stretch with extended wear. Use of provided suede sponge can help clean superficial dirt and stains and restore the soft appearance of our suede. Avoid contact with water.

Lame

Lame is an Italian fabrication that can be damaged by alcohol or abrasion. It is not recommended to use cleaning products on this material and can be spot cleaned by professional care.

Metallic Goat

Metallic goatskin is foiled. When in contact with abrasive ground or materials will have loss of foil which cannot be repaired once removed. Wear with caution and store in protective dust bag.

Metallic Knit

Avoid contact wih sharp materials which could pull the threats. Once threads are damaged, they cannot be repaired. Spot clean by professional care only. We do not recommend using cleaning products on this material.

Mirror Leather

Mirrored leather may develop slight wrinkles with constant flexing. Wear with caution as if this leather is suffed or scratched it cannot be repaired. Clean only with damp cloth as cleaning materials with alcohols may damage the shiny finish.

Nappa

Nappa is a soft and absorbent leather and will allow for stretching. Avoid contact with water or moisturizers.

Pebbled leather

Pebbled leather is extremely durable and will show little wear. Can be cleaned with a damp cloth or by professional care.

Rhinestones

Rhinestones are delicate as they are hand sewn. Shoes should not be placed under direct sunlight.

Rubber

Rubber can develop holes with excessive contact with salt and chemicals. Wipe clean with cold water and soap. Leave to dry naturally and keep out of direct sunlight.

Satin

Wear with caution as this Italian fabrication is vulnerable to snagging and stains. Protect satin shoes with water repellent to ward off dirt prior to wear. Avoid contact with water. Clean by professional care only.

Sequins

Our sequin embellishments are hand sewn and therefore moderately delicate. It is recommended to wear with caution and store in provided dust bag.

Shearling

Naturally durable, shearling can be stored in an airy, dry place and treated by a fur-care specialist. Do not brush when wet.

Soft Calf

We recommend applying leather conditioner periodically to maintain the the appearance and luster of our soft calf.

Soft Patent

Soft patent is malleable and will crinkle slightly as it molds to your foot. Handle with care as it is subject to scuffing.

Suede can be restored with the provided suede sponge to help clean superficial dirt and stains. To seal, use a water and stain protector.

Suede may stretch with extended wear. Use of provided suede sponge can help clean superficial dirt and stains and restore the soft appearance of our suede. Avoid contact with water.

Tumbled Leather

Durable and textured, tumbled nubuck should be cleaned immediately after contact with dirt with a course cloth or nubuck brush.

Twisted Fabric

Cotton fabric is hand twisted to achieve loose webbing. Fibers may fray with abrasion. This is not considered to be a flaw but rather a natural feature of this superior material. Naturally dyed. Avoid contact with water as crocking may occur on lighter materials.

Vachetta

Vachetta develops a beautiful patina and deepens in color over time with exposure to the sun. It is vulnerable to water stains and tonal changes.

Velvet is delicate and can become crushed or matted if not stored properly. Some light loss of fibers may occur and is to be expected. To seal, use a water and stain protector.

Webbing

Lurex webbing is a durable material and can be cleaned with a damp cloth and mild detergent.

Woven Cotton

Woven cotton can be cleaned with the use of warm water and mild dish detergent to clean. Leave the shoes to dry in the sun or in a warm dry place indoors.

Woven Raffia

Woven raffia is made from natural straw and will decompose if in contact with water of liquids. This natural material may fray with extended wear and contact with abrasive materials. This is considered natural wear and not a design flaw.
